The Evangelical Alliance of Kenya (EAK) has commended the selection Panel on the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for giving the country a constituted IEBC, under very difficult circumstances.
President William Ruto has nominated a new chairperson, Erastus Edung Ethekon, a former Turkana County attorney and six members of the Commission namely Fahima Araphat Abdallah, Hassan Noor Hassan, Francis Odhiambo Aduol, Moses Mukhwana, Mary Karen Sorobit and Ann Nderitu who are now awaiting approval by the National Assembly.

Kepha Nyandega while speaking during a media briefing in Nairobi, urged the National Assembly to reconvene soon to complete the process in view of the urgency of the Commission.
