The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has apprehended three suspects who stormed a company based in Athi-River on February 23 and terrorised them before robbing the facility.

According to a report by the DCI on Monday, May 12, three were arrested following a probe launched immediately after the incident.

The three are said to have been among a gang of five who raided the facility armed with crude weapons and rounded up workers, assaulted them, and held them hostage.

During the encounter, the employees were left battered and bound as the robbers took off with several appliances from the scene.
