Presidential hopeful Fred Matiang'i has returned to the US, just days after announcing his presidential bid, according to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Matiangi, who recently joined Gachagua's opposition camp, has been the subject of political discourse following his intent to run for the top seat. The news of him jetting out of the country has been the subject of the talk of the town, with politicians opposed to his presidency alluding that he developed cold feet and decided to go back to his job with the World Bank in Washington, DC. However, his ally Gachagua, during a media engagement with Egesa FM, announced that Matiang'i had gone back to the US to resign formally and hand over.
