The Kenya Railways Corporation (KRC) has announced a train service disruption that will affect passengers using the Nanyuki Safari train.

According to Kenya Railways, the Nanyuki Safari train is set to be unavailable on Friday, January 17.

This is after a section of the railway line was blocked hindering the movement of trains between Nairobi and Nanyuki. ''We wish to inform members of the public that the Nanyuki Safari train will not run on Friday, January 17, 2025,'' Kenya Railways announced ''This is due to a blockage on a section of the line, which is hindering the movement of trains between Nairobi and Nanyuki." Kenya Railways, however, assured members of the public that they deployed a team to work on repair works on the line.
