The rider of the motorcycle used to ferry assailants who tracked and killed Kasipul MP Charles Ong'ondo Were has been apprehended.

The accused was nabbed at Kibera Darajani area, following an intelligence-led operation by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

This arrest follows a thorough investigation that forensically connected him to the main suspects and placed him at the crime scene on that fateful day.

According to the detectives, it was revealed that the suspect served as the rider of the motorcycle, a Bajaj Boxer, which the assailants used to trail the MP's vehicle and later as a getaway bike after the attack.
