A Kenyan student lost his life in India after a freak incident saw him fall from a building where he was residing.
The 29-year-old, who was studying at a private college in Salem, was staying at a rented house at Kannankurichi - a town in Panchayat within the Salem Metropolitan Area of Tamil Nadu in India.
According to local outlets in India, the deceased, identified as Daniel, moved to Kannankurichi after discontinuing his studies and was living with a female roommate from Uganda.
Further reports indicate that on April 27, while speaking on the phone and sitting on the edge of a wall, Daniel lost his balance and fell, sustaining a head injury in the process.
