Traffic has built up along the busy Thika Super Highway after a road accident in the Ngara area.
Motorists attempting to access the central business district of Nairobi city have expressed difficulty navigating the highway.
This was after a matatu ferrying passengers to the CBD got involved in a road crash, leaving several passengers with injuries.
The accident is said to have occurred around 7:30am, around Guru Nanak, near the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD), after a matatu rammed into another vehicle from the rear. The matatu caused several other cars that were trailing it to crash into each other, further complicating the situation.
