Grief engulfed the Suba South Subcounty on Thursday after a form three girl was killed by her boyfriend at her parents' home in Olando village.
The deceased, identified as Alphins Opuodho, a student at St Joseph's Olando Mixed Secondary School, was attacked by the said boyfriend at about midnight, while her grade six brother was also injured during the attack.
Area Assistant Chief Richard Okinyi said that the assailant raided her home, Kibwer Sub-location, Gwassi East location, where the girl and her brother were sleeping.
Okinyi said the deceased stabbed the deceased on the back and the head and was rushed to Magunga Level Four Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
