Police in Mombasa have arrested an employee of a company in Changamwe on suspicion he stole the company's property worth Sh6.9 million.
Shakil Ali Mohamed was arrested following an investigation into the theft which took place between February last year and February this year.
He was arraigned in court before Mombasa Senior Resident Magistrate Gladys Ollimo who ordered him to appear for plea tomorrow.
This was after his lawyer Ouma Otieno successfully applied for deferment of the plea after Mohamed was deposed.
