Rainfall is expected to continue over several regions across the country this week, according to the Kenya Meteorological Department.
In a statement on Monday, May 26, the department confirmed that the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Central Rift Valley, and the Coast will receive rain between Tuesday, May 27, and Saturday, May 31.
Residents in Nyandarua, Laikipia, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang'a, Kiambu, Meru, Embu, Tharaka, and Nairobi Counties are expected to experience cloudy conditions breaking into sunny intervals for most mornings throughout the week, except Thursday, when it is expected to rain over a few places.
In the afternoons and nights, the weatherman has predicted that these counties will receive showers in a few places, except for Friday night, when it is predicted to be partly cloudy.
