President William Ruto has promised to give Harambee Stars an additional thank-you package after they bowed out of the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024).
Speaking to the Stars after the match on Friday, August 22, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki conveyed a message on behalf of the President and assured the boys that the President and the nation were proud of them for the effort and unity they brought to the country during the matches. ''Forget about the motivation and the other things in between, the president has said he wants to build on what you have brought to our country, the honor, unity, and the pride, and he will be reaching out to you through the leadership and the Ministry to give you a thank you,'' Kindiki said.
The president has been supportive of the National team since the tournament began, giving and issuing rewards to them for their performances.
