Naivasha's multi-agency security team has seized and destroyed the bhang worth over Sh3 million in an enhanced crackdown on illegal drug trade.
The security team said the bang was stocked in a rented house in Kayole estate on the outskirts of Naivasha town awaiting further distribution to end users.
According to Naivasha Deputy County Commissioner Josiah Odongo, the security team has been on high alert following reports of increased use of bangs among children and youths.
Odongo led its destruction in Naivasha and announced enhanced surveillance to root out the drug menace in the lakeside town while calling on citizens to report any incidents.
