Kenyan Premier League clubs have been cautioned against engaging in unauthorised advertising with third-party organisations.
Football Kenya Federation (FKF), in a statement on Thursday, May 29, raised alarm over the unlawful practice, urging clubs to follow the stipulated guidelines. "It has come to the attention of the Federation that certain clubs have entered into agreements with third parties, particularly via pitchside banners and LED panels during FKF Premier League matches," the statement read.
FKF noted that some of the advertisements featured brands or entities that were not recognised commercial partners of the Federation and the Premier League.
