Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetangula has led a major interdenominational fundraiser team in support of 40 churches in the Bomachoge Chache constituency, held at the Machongo P.A.G.
Primary School grounds.
The event drew large crowds and was graced by numerous religious and political leaders from across the region.
In his keynote address, Speaker Wetangula called for sustained peace and unity in the country, warning against the dangers of tribal politics. "The country belongs to all of us, regardless of our tribe or background.
