Molo Deputy County Commissioner (DCC) Jackson Olechuta has urged residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities, especially in light of increased cattle theft and recent murder incidents in various parts of Nakuru County.

Speaking during the Madaraka Day celebrations at Marioshoni trading center yesterday, Olechuta emphasized the importance of community members working closely with security agencies to ensure appropriate action is taken against those found culpable of criminal activities.

Olechuta highlighted the effectiveness of using technology in aiding security efforts, as it helps authorities to quickly identify and apprehend those involved.

For instance, when cattle theft incidents are reported, he explained that once a photo of the stolen cattle is obtained, it is shared with local community leaders or chiefs, who then assist in the search efforts through various online platforms.
