The Democracy for the Citizens Party launch slated for Tuesday, June 3, at Kasarani Stadium has been cancelled.
In a statement on Monday, June 2, former KICC board chair Irungu Nyakera announced that this new development was a result of being denied a venue for the event.
However, he revealed that new dates and a venue would be communicated in due time and that the slight setback would not break their resolve. "The DCP party launch that was to be held on Thika Road has been called off, awaiting a new venue and date," Nyakera stated.
