Governor Anyang' Nyong'o has expressed gratitude following the recent visit by President William Ruto and Azimio leader Raila Odinga to Kisumu County.
The governor listed some of the transformational projects commissioned by the President, including the Makasembo Affordable Housing Project - Phase 1, the Lake Victoria Marina Affordable Housing Project at Kirembe, and the groundbreaking ceremony for Makasembo Affordable Housing Project - Phase 3. Raila Odinga for his generous donation of five acres of land for the affordable housing project," Nyong'o stated.
He described the donation as a profound testament to the former Prime Minister's unwavering belief that every Kenyan deserves decent and affordable shelter, adding that it signals his support for the government's housing agenda. "Our appreciation further extends to President Ruto for the broad portfolio of development his administration has initiated in Kisumu County, many of which are progressing steadily towards completion," Governor Nyong'o added.
