Turkana Deputy Governor Dr.
John Erus on Wednesday hosted a high-level delegation from UN Women's Peace and Security Unit, Peace Winds Japan, Toyota Kenya Foundation, and CFAO Mobility to discuss the pending launch of the Kalobeyei Modern Garage.
Once commissioned, the facility is expected to serve as a public asset for economic transformation in the Kalobeyei area and across the wider county.
The project, initiated in 2022 and completed in late 2024, is awaiting official handover to the Turkana County Government.
