At least two vehicles have been set ablaze in Nairobi's Central Business District as protests demanding the resignation of Deputy Inspector General of Police Eliud Lagat turned violent.

Thick smoke and towering flames were seen near the Kenya Cinema building, where the vehicles were parked.
