Huduma Centre officials participated in the National Data Protection Advocacy Programme Sensitization event held today in Vihiga County, where they provided essential government services to members of the public following the main session.
The event, aimed at raising awareness about citizens' rights and responsibilities under the Data Protection Act, 2019, attracted a large turnout, signaling growing public interest in personal data privacy and security.

"It is not just about people coming to us; we are committed to going to where they are to serve them," he said.
He added that Huduma Centre regularly leverages on public events, including community barazas, to deliver services and strengthen citizen engagement.
