Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) Foundation has handed over a state-of-the-art ICT lab at Ong'eche Secondary School in Kadibo Sub-County, Kisumu County.

The initiative is part of KPC Foundation's campaign to equip learners in underserved communities with the essential equipment to enhance digital skills development.

The modern computer lab is replete with computers, internet access and solar panels built for Sh5 million as part of KPC Foundation Corporate Social Investment initiatives in the region.

Energy Cabinet Secretary, Opiyo Wandayi while presiding over the official launch on Friday, lauded the initiative as a transformative step towards enhancing educational outcomes for students in rural setup. "I am pleased to note that the computer laboratory at Ong'eche Secondary School is already making an impact by serving junior secondary students from neighbouring schools further extending the reach of this facility.
