Jubilee Secretary-General Jeremiah Kioni has said that Senior Economic Advisor Moses Kuria will have to wait until 2028 to assume the party's secretary-general position.

Kioni, speaking on Monday, May 16, during an interview on TV47, clarified that the Jubilee Party's secretary-general post was not readily available, as many may assume.

According to him, the former Public Service Cabinet Secretary must first prove himself, adding that Kuria will have to wait another three years to realise his ambition.

Kioni also reiterated that for Kuria to secure the lucrative party position, he must receive the requisite approval of the party's National Delegates Council (NDC).
