Two people succumbed to injuries sustained during a road accident at Flax Forest along the Eldoret-Eldama Ravine Road in Elgeyo-Marakwet County on Wednesday night.
Reportedly, the accident involved a private car and a motorcycle, with the deceased being the occupants of the private car.
According to witnesses, the private car tried to evade an oncoming vehicle, leading it to hit a tree, after which the two succumbed on the spot.
Possibly because of the heavy rains during the accident, the personal car is said to have rolled several times before it crashed into the tree.
