Social media influencer and former abductee Billy Mwangi has claimed that his life is in danger following a controversial social media post purportedly linking him to a series of attacks against Albert Ojwang's father.
Mwangi, who was allegedly abducted and released in December last year, said on Thursday, June 19, that he had received threatening messages from individuals he claimed were targeting him because of a post criticising Meshack Ojwang for accepting President William Ruto's money.
Speaking to Kenyans.co.ke, the blogger disclosed that over the past few days, he had received several intimidating messages, which forced him to seek police intervention.
The 24-year-old told the publication that on Thursday morning, he reported the matter to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters located along Kiambu Road in Nairobi.
