Construction of the Muchatha-Kaiyaba road in Kiambaa Constituency, Kiambu County, is rapidly reshaping the face of the once dusty and neglected area, ushering in hope for improved infrastructure, economic growth, and increased land value.

The 10-kilometre stretch, which connects Muchatha town to the surrounding Kaiyaba and Nduota areas, is undergoing major upgrades under a county-funded infrastructure improvement project launched in late 2021.

The National Government allocated approximately Sh3 billion for the ongoing project.

The construction is now in its advanced stages, with earthworks, culverts, and drainage systems already laid and preparations for tarmacking underway.
