Kenya Urban Roads Authority(KURA) has called on all suppliers, contractors, and consultants to register for the Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) System before July 1, 2025. e-GP is an online platform governments use to handle all procurement activities digitally, from tendering to contract management. In Kenya, it was introduced to improve transparency, reduce corruption, and make it easier and more efficient for suppliers to access government opportunities.
In a notice released on Saturday, June 21, KURA Director General Silas Kinoti said that this is in line with the rollout by the National Treasury & Economic Planning following a presidential directive and ongoing Public Finance Management Reforms.
