Defence Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuya and her Transport counterpart, Davis Chrichir, on Friday, June 20, made notable appointments to their ministries as part of the broader plan to enhance service delivery in government.
In the gazette notice, Tuya appointed Josep Kivunzi to be the chairperson of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) Pensions Appeals Committee for the next three years.
Kivuzi joins colonels Joseph Yator, Lewis Muluvi and Muthomi Nchuurai, who were appointed to the committee on January 31 this year when the CS established the taskforce.
Others who are also part of the committee include Brigadiers Jeremiah Maroko and Kioko Mwololo, who were appointed to the committee in February this year.
