Mwendaandu Secondary School emerged the winner in boy's football after beating Oljoorok Secondary 2-0 in a tough game which saw Oljoorok take second position in matches held at Nyahururu Stadium to select teams to represent Nyandarua County at the regional level.
In the semifinals Mwendaandu Secondary had beaten Kahuho Secondary 2-0 while Oljoorok had defeated Ngorika 3-0, leading to a meeting of the winning teams for the final match where Mwendaandu won.
In the search of third and fourth place in boy's football, Ngorika Secondary faced Kahuho Boys where Kahuho took third position after beating Ngorika Secondary 4-3 through penalties after they drew 1-1.
Ruiru Girls took the lead in girl's football after defeating Ngorika Secondary 2-0 in the final match while Ngorika settled for second position.
