LIVESTREAM 1 Kenyans Embed URL LIVESTREAM 2 Kenyans Embed URL Protests in Eldoret threatened to turn ugly after baton-wielding goons stormed the Central Business District (CBD) targeting civilians taking part in demonstrations.
In images and videos seen by Kenyans.co.ke, the armed individuals are seen making their way to the CBD where demonstrations were gaining momentum.
The goons disrupted the supposedly peaceful demonstrations to commemorate lives lost during anti-Finance Bill protests in 2024.
Residents who turned up in large numbers for the demonstrations were spotted openly lamenting about the presence of goons in scenes which were similar to those witnessed in Nairobi a week ago.
