Githunguri Member of Parliament Gathoni Wamuchomba appears to have endorsed Fred Matiang'i to be the next president.
Wamuchomba, a known ally of former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, was alongside Matiang'i and other dignitaries at the PCEA Thika Town Church in Kiambu County on Sunday, June 29, when she made the remarks.
During the church service, the vocal lawmaker openly advocated for Matiang'i in the former CS's presence, as she declared he would become the next Head of State. "Because I have foresight, I know that here we have the next president of the Republic of Kenya," Wamuchomba said amid applause from the congregation.
