Senior Advisor in the Council of Economic Advisors, Moses Kuria, on Monday, June 30, doubled down on his claims that there will be no elections come 2027.

Kuria sparked debate with a scathing response to Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, who was adamant that elections should proceed within the next two years, as required in the constitution.

The former Gatundu South lawmaker, in his response on X, formerly Twitter, told off Kalonzo, saying that elections were unlikely to proceed as planned because of a myriad of legal and institutional hurdles. "This morning, I listened to my friend Kalonzo Musyoka on Kameme FM.

SKM questioned my statement that there will be no election in 2027," Kuria said.
