Kenya's inflation rate held steady at 3.8 per cent in June, marking the first time in recent months that the rate has neither risen nor fallen. "The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) produces the Consumer Price Indices (CPI) and inflation rates report on a monthly basis.

Annual consumer price inflation as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) was 3.8 per cent in June 2025," read the monthly Bureau's report.

KNBS Director General Macdonald Obudho attributed the stable inflation to lower prices of essential household commodities.

The cost of cooking oil (salad) declined by 0.4 per cent, while Irish potatoes fell by 0.2 per cent.
