Grief engulfed Central Kwabwai Location in Ndhiwa Sub-county after a woman octogenarian, was stung to death by bees.
The 70-year-old woman identified as Anastasia Bunde Oyugi, died after being stung by a swarm of bees near Ratanga market.
Central Kwabwai Location Chief, George Olang'o, said the bees were provoked by a tractor that was passing by. "The tractor produced smoke that agitated the bees before they attacked her.
She collapsed and died when some residents were rushing her to a nearby health facility," Olang'o said.
