The Ministry of Education has formally granted registration status to a new cohort of pre-primary and primary institutions within Marakwet West Sub County, following the successful completion of all statutory and quality assurance requirements.
The registration was effected after a high-level consultation between Marakwet West Member of Parliament Timothy Kipchumba and the Principal Secretary for Basic Education, Amb.

The institutions now legally recognised are located in various parts of the Sub County.
