Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga, who doubles up as the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party Chairperson, has warned opposition leaders against attacking former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
Speaking in Homa Bay County during Albert Ojwang's burial, Wanga warned the leaders to look for an alternative and more meaningful agenda instead of criticising Odinga. ''Leave Raila alone.
We cannot have an opposition of scavengers and clueless fellows who do not know what they are talking about, and all they are talking about is Raila,'' Wanga warned.
The Homa Bay Governor dismissed the recent attacks by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and other opposition figures, terming their sentiments against Odinga as shallow and divisive.
