National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula has hit back at Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka over allegations of sponsoring goons who attacked opposition leaders' convoy during their tour of the Western region.
In a statement on his X page, Wetangula dismissed the allegations, urging Kalonzo to stop his 'misplaced anger and transferred malice.' While seemingly providing an alibi to support his assertions, Wetangula stated that he was in Mombasa and was no longer involved in constituency politics, reiterating that he had last been a constituency MP in 2013. "Kalonzo Musyoka, my brother, as you have correctly addressed me, stop your misplaced anger and transferred malice.
I am in Mombasa.
Keep out of your angry politics," Wetangula stated.
