A four-classroom block is near completion at Ngegu Primary School in Kiambaa constituency, Kiambu County, marking a significant milestone in the county's efforts to address overcrowding in public schools.
The modern two-storey block, featuring a distinctive yellow and blue color scheme, represents improved educational infrastructure, a crucial investment in creating a more conducive learning environment for students.
Dr Mercy Njagi CECM for Education in Kiambu said she was glad that the new block of four additional classrooms is almost ready, noting it was a step towards the county's target of easing congestion in classes. "This investment in education ensures our learners have a more conducive environment to thrive," she said.
The new structure features spacious classrooms with large windows designed to maximize natural lighting and ventilation, creating an optimal learning atmosphere.
