Key projects worth billions of shillings, aimed at improving Kenya's economy, will be completed on schedule to benefit all citizens, President William Ruto and his deputy Kithure Kindiki announced during their tour of Western region.
On Thursday, President Ruto commissioned the extension of a dyke for the River Nzoia flood control project in Budalang'i, Busia County.
He reaffirmed his administration's commitment to equitable resource distribution.
The dyke is expected to prevent Lake Victoria's backflow, preventing flooding and enabling residents to farm and engage in productive activities without fear of displacement.
