The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has warned motorists of temporary traffic disruptions on a section of Mombasa Road near Syokimau.

In a statement, KeNHA indicated that the temporary disruptions will occur on Mombasa Road (A8), near the Syokimau Railway Station.

The Authority stated that the disruptions will begin at midnight on Saturday, July 12, and end at midnight on Sunday, July 13, 2025. "The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) wishes to notify the public that a section of Mombasa Road (A8) near Syokimau Railway Station will experience traffic disruption along the Mombasa-bound carriageway from Saturday, 12th July, 2025 at Midnight to Sunday, 13th July, 2025 at Midnight," the authority stated.  An image of the structure of Phase 111- Expressway on July 12, 2025.

Twitter Kenya National Highways Authority During the 24-hour disruption, the Mombasa-bound side of Mombasa Road between the JKIA Exit and Syokimau will be closed.
