President Donald Trump has signed executive orders declassifying the assassination records of former President John F Kennedy.
The order signed on Thursday further allows the declassification and release of all remaining files related to the assassination of former Senator Robert F Kennedy and the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr.
According to the White House, the order that could bring an end six-decade conspiracy theory calls on the Director of National Intelligence to present a plan within 15 days for the "full and complete release" of files related to JFK's assassination and a plan within 45 days for the release of documents on the other two assassinations. "The Executive Order establishes the policy that, more than 50 years after these assassinations, the victims' families and the American people deserve the truth.
