The Kenya Roads Board (KRB) has announced that it has released Ksh3.68 billion from the Road Maintenance Levy Fund (RMLF) to counties for the 2024/2025 financial year.
In a statement on Tuesday, July 22, the Board stated that the Ksh3,682,774,150 released is intended for the maintenance of county roads. "In the FY 2024/2025, the Board released Road Maintenance Levy Fund (RMLF) amounting to Ksh3,682,774,150 for maintenance of county roads," the notice reads.
This amount was paid on June 30 and represents 35 per cent of the total Ksh10.52 billion owed for the 2024/2025 financial year.
