Houses within Nairobi's suburbs and satellite towns saw a marginal drop in rental prices during the second quarter of 2025, between April and June.
Hass Consult, a Kenyan real estate firm, on Thursday released its Hass Property Price Indices showing changes in rental prices in major estates within Nairobi.
Among the suburb and satellite towns that saw rent drop include Muthaiga, Westlands, Kilimani, and Runda, which saw a drop in rents by 2.7 per cent, 1.7 per cent, 1.2 per cent and 0.1 per cent, respectively.
According to the report, rental prices contracted by a marginal 0.2 per cent in the second quarter compared to an increase of 0.3 per cent in the first quarter.
