The Kenya Airports Authority has issued an advisory to passengers travelling to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and the Wilson Airport on Sunday, August 3.
In a notice, the authority revealed that several roads leading to the two airports had been closed and thus offered alternative routes to those who would be affected to facilitate the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN) at the Nyayo National Stadium and Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani.
Among the roads to be affected are the Aerodrome Road, Lang'ata Road and Mombasa Road. "Nairobi is today hosting a key match of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), one of Africa's premier football tournaments," the statement read in part.
