Politicians and businesspeople alike joined Brian Belio's family in presenting a dowry to Nicole Langat's family in a ceremony meant to symbolise respect and gratitude, termed Tumdoab Kanyiook.
The couple was dressed in tan colours, with the groom-to-be in a suit and the bride-to-be in a strapless bodycon dress and a cowhide-pattern cape.
As for the fathers, PS Kipsang wore a light grey suit, while Langat was wearing a navy blue suit.
