The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a 30-day temporary closure of a section of the Kisumu Boys-Mamboleo (A1) Road in Kisumu.
In a notice on August 4, the authority revealed that the closure will happen between Thursday, August 7, to Friday, September 5.
The traffic disruption is expected to facilitate the construction and improvement works on the road section. "The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) wishes to notify the public of a temporary closure and traffic diversion along the Kisumu Boys Mamboleo (A1) Road from Thursday, 7th August, 2025, to Friday, 5th September, 2025," part of the statement read.
