Members of Parliament have approved 15 nominees for appointment to five Constituency Committees of the National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF).
In a statement on Tuesday, August 12, the National Assembly relayed that this was in line with the provisions of Section 43(4) of the National Government Constituency Development Fund Act, Cap 414A, and the National Government Constituencies Development Fund Regulations, 2016.
The 15 nominees will join committees in five constituencies, including Isiolo South, Lungalunga, Kuria West, Homabay Town and Kitui South. "This House adopts the Report of the Committee on National Government Constituencies Development Fund, laid on the Table of the House on Wednesday, 6th August 2025, and pursuant to the provisions of section 43(4) of the National Government Constituency Development Fund Act, Cap 414A, and paragraphs 5(2) and (10) of the National Government Constituencies Development Fund Regulations, 2016, approves the list of nominees for appointment to the following five (5) Constituency Committees of the National Government Constituency Development Fund," the statement read in part.
