All motorists have been advised on where to buy accessories after the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) published its official August 2025 list of approved motor vehicle body builders, conformity assessors, and licensed speed limiter suppliers.
According to NTSA, the notice is in line with Section 4 of the NTSA Act No. 33 of 2012 and the Traffic Act (CAP 403), NTSA that mandates it to regulate and oversee road safety measures across the country.
One of NTSA's responsibilities is to ensure that it enforces KS 2295:2023, a standard that outlines the guidelines for licensing companies that provide speed-limiting devices.
The standards are necessary for certain classes of vehicles to prevent overspeeding and reduce road accidents.
