The National Youth Service (NYS) has announced a major recruitment drive for Technical Instructors and Lecturers, with the exercise scheduled for September 2025.  In a statement on August 19, NYS stated that the Service is seeking to fill 130 vacancies across 29 different fields. "The National Youth Service (NYS) is pleased to announce to the public the recruitment of (181) Technical Instructors and Lecturers scheduled to take place in the month of September 2025," the NYS statement reads.

The Service has urged all applicants to complete Application for Employment Form PSC.2 (Revised 2016).

Applicants must compile the completed form, along with a detailed curriculum vitae, certified copies of academic certificates, testimonials and a copy of their national identity card or passport, in a sealed envelope.
