A woman has been charged with stealing Ksh196,000 from two mobile money agents in Fedha Estate area of Nairobi, along the Outer Ring Road.
According to court documents, the incident took place on June 17, 2025, when the main suspect liaised with her accomplices, who are still at large, to defraud the two agents.
Court records state that the woman allegedly used fake documents to steal Ksh99,000 from one agent, and then used the same method to con another agent out of Ksh97,000.
The prosecution revealed, contrary to the law, she was able to use a fake ID registered in 2021 to carry out the fraudulent transactions.
