The Law Society of Kenya has invited all desiring members of its society for the conferment of the rank of Senior Counsel to submit their applications.

Muturi, revealed that the new 2025 cycle of confirmation is expected to generate significant interest in the legal profession. ''Pursuant to Rule 5 of the Advocates (Senior Counsel Conferment and Privileges) Rules, 2011, the Committee on Senior Counsel hereby invites members of the Society with the requisite qualifications and interest in the conferment of the rank of Senior Counsel to submit applications for consideration,'' the statement read in part.

According to the Society, the invitation follows Rule 5 of the Advocates (Senior Counsel Conferment and Privileges) Rules, 2011, which mandates the Committee on Senior Counsel to receive and evaluate applications from qualified members of the Society.
